Its just another Maidana fight for Ortiz

Ortiz fights Mayweather like he fights Maidana. He surrendered the fight by exposing his jaw to Mayweather. Ortiz forgot referee's instruction before the fight and that is to "protect yourself at all times" during the brawl. It could be caused by his inexperience facing a much clever opponent or it could be a sign of surrender if you ask a hard core fans' opinion. I think Mayweather unsportsmanlike behavior and Ortiz weak set of mind contrubuted to the mess of this fight. Unprofessional because of Mayweather's behavior from the start as seen in 24/7 episodes, how he treated the Sr with verbal attact without respect, how Mayweather kiss the s*** in Ortiz's nose just to attract the pocket of the PPV viewers It drained my cancered pocket just to see a very disappointing fight that is overly hyped. Ortiz's weak set of mind because of leaving his jaw exposed instead of saying "mo mas". Ortiz face again is devalued and it will be another hurdle for him to reach the top once more. Today, hyping is the standard of boxing. Be aware that boxing is first business . The only man that can be pleased by this unfortunate event is Dana White.

Ortiz got the highest paycheck (USD 2.5 million) in his life by this fight. Easy money. He got down like Donald Duck with a dollar sign in his eyes. He could have been thinking how he would spend such a fortune.

This event could be avoided centainly if the NSAC put the youthful and vibrant referee Kenny Bayless. Cortez maybe a good referee but his age would tell the reality that he is not apt to an overly hyped championship fight that was expectedly action packed. more from granville ampong of examiner.com......

Larry Merchant the amiable/respected sportscaster and analyst catches the verbal attack from Mayweather and foud the kitchen sink as a treat. Merchant retorted with a gallant word " I wish I was 50 years younger, I would have kicked your ass." Very well, its understood how Merchant got pissed by the behavior of Floyd. MAYWEATHER MUST FACE THE PACMAN TO CEMENT HIS LEGACY

MAYWEATHERS' PRONOUNCEMENTS:

Pacquiao is a one dimensional fighter. He (Pacquiao) cannot win against Lil Floyd as the senior said. Pacman got knocked out. All the trash talk from the Mayweathers do not sit well with their demand for random drug testing. It seems to be just an alibi for ducking the ferocious fighter from the Philippines.

Floyd pronouncement as the best fighter in the world sounds hollow as just a hype. The fight with Mosley last Saturday proves his prowess and skill but he should test it against a prize fighter like Pacquiao. If one is truly a good fighter he should fight the best without precondidtions. Pacquiao in a statement from his official website (MPBOXING the official voice of Manny Pacquio) that he is allowing a cut-off date 14 days before the fight just to help the future of boxing as a sport.That's one good consideration albeit another ducking demand.

We were again caught up in a highly hyped fight that resulted in a boring contest. Just as Freddie Roach predicted, it resulted in a boring unanimous decision. PPV maybe high but are we happy shelling almost USD60.00 to pay for a fight that snoozes the fans. Attendance reached almost 16thousand without electric.
Never again. All I got is a cancered pocket. All money goes to the Mayweathers and Golden Boy Promotions and what we have got? HYPED.
